Project Manager Profile: Eric Mellum
Eric is a senior program/project manager and solution architect with two decades of experience designing and implementing successful solutions. Along with being well versed in program and project management, he possesses strong skills in requirements analysis, data and process modeling, custom application development, package system selection and integration, risk and issue management, training, and technical leadership.
On top of that, Eric has full lifecycle experience with legacy systems and new technologies. His excellent problem solving and communication skills have combined with a proven track record of successfully completing complex, high-visibility projects to make him a favorite face around our offices.
Eric started his career in 1990 as a Systems Engineer at Electronic Data Systems (EDS), where he designed and implemented business solutions involving both application development and process reengineering in mainframe and client/server environments. He then went on to Deloitte Consulting, where he began leading data warehouse implementations as an architect and a project manager, and also doing systems strategy projects for his clients. He has frequently turned around troubled projects and programs to deliver high value, on-time and under-budget solutions, while developing high-functioning teams.
Fast-forward to 2010 and you will now find Eric working for our client Thomson Reuters, the world's leading source of intelligent information for businesses and professionals. In his role there as project manager and enterprise information architect, he manages custom reporting and integration of new business and enhancements to the Enterprise Data Warehouse, integrating data from SAP’s Business Warehouse, salesforce.com, and other sources.
